Blog Post 8- 11/19/22

Week 8 of my project has just wrapped up, and I used it to learn more about the world of cryptocurrency. Before now, I spent most of my time researching and investing in stock, and while crypto isn’t much different I wanted to try something slightly new. I had a lot of success with this, and ended up looking a lot further into Bitcoin. While this is already a very well known form of cryptocurrency, I wanted to find out as much as possible in case I want to invest in the future. There were a lot more pros than cons this week, but an obvious con is the price of Bitcoin. Right now it averages around $43,000, so I won’t be investing for quite some time. This week I was also able to find a bunch of new helpful websites that give way more information than the ones I was using prior. These include Yahoo Finance and Robinhood. When I researched these, I was a little surprised to find just how deep the world of stock goes. I want to look more into that next week.
